Level I Poetry Workshop

Just the thing if you have never enrolled in a poetry workshop before—or if you are a more seasoned poet who simply craves a community of friendly and thoughtful writers for inspiration, feedback and support. Our weekly meetings will touch on rhythm & rhyme, tone, imagery, figures of speech, form, structure, mood and more. We will also explore:

  • How to discover your individual vision & style
  • Strategies for nurturing your own writing process and carving out the “life space” required for writing good verse
  • Innovative exercises to spark new work
  • Support to conquer your inner critic
  • Readings to challenge our ideas of what poetry is and who we are as poets

Class limited to 12 poets.
